Do you ever feel like you are always in between? Do you get the feeling that you are always either a little to young or a little too old to have a certain kind of fun, or creativity, or job, or dream? That’s what the thought is behind this song. Inspired by a meeting with Allman Brothers drummer Butch Trucks weeks before he took his own life. The story as I share it is the life of a hard working musician came to a brief stop, most likely after years of feeling like their life-long aspirations haven’t delivered nearly the amount of personal impact they intended.
