Well, it happened. I stopped my consistent video posting to take a break and focus on other creative areas and that makes it all the much harder to get back into it. I’ve been giving it a lot of thought, and I think it is important to consider that scarcity may be an asset during this time. If I spend too much time focused on feeding the current social media monster, it may be at the sacrifice of long term plans. For that reason, I will be trying to keep focus on my efforts to finish recording and releasing The Inevitable Unexpected regardless of what other potential distractions might come between now and access to a public recording studio again. It may require re-thinking my release strategy somewhat…Anyway, Songwriting has been coming along well, and even without new material I feel pretty confident about two new concepts for future band recordings and I don’t want to let too much time go by between The Inevitable Unexpected and the start time of recording those new projects.
